Arroyo Seco Academy

Small Learning Community

The Arroyo Seco Academy is a well-established SLC that is very involved in community events and field trips in Highland Park and Northeast LA.

This is a rigorous program that integrates college preparatory academics, career technical education, strong community partnerships and a supportive family-like atmosphere.

Our academy teachers and administrators strive to promote successful student academics and introductory technical training.  Students may attend elective classes in computer aided design, graphics, industrial design, and 3D design.

Parents, students and teachers are invited to monthly dinners to help bond together and better aid students receive public education that is truly excellent and to be involved in programs that are beneficial to the whole community.

Franklin Senior High graduates have gone on to become successful in many careers including Police Chiefs, Olympic athletes, business people, engineers, teachers, politicians, actors and others.  Our goal is to assist each student in reaching their best potential at the high school level as a prelude to technical training, junior college or college.
